General terms and Conditions
1. The BLACK+DECKER PT 1 year Warranty is available to the original
BLACK+DECKER product user who has purchased the BLACK+DECKER
products from an authorized BLACK+DECKER reseller for use in the course of
their trade or profession. The BLACK+DECKER PT Warranty is not available to
persons purchasing BLACK+DECKER product for the purpose of “resale” or
“hire”.
2. This warranty is not transferrable. It is only available to the original
BLACK+DECKER product user who has purchased and registered the product
as identified above.
3. In addition to the Terms & Conditions outlined in this document, the
Terms & Conditions stated in the BLACK+DECKER PT Warranty also apply.
4. A product repair or replacement under this warranty does not extend or
renew the warranty period. The 1 year warranty period starts from the
original purchase date and ends 12 months later.
Products excluded from the BLACK+DECKER PT 1 year Warranty.
In addition to the product exclusions stated in the BLACK+DECKER PT
Warranty, section 3, the following BLACK+DECKER branded products are also
excluded:
* Attachments and accessories. e.g. Nailers, Powder Impact tools
* Batteries and Chargers
* The product has been purchased as used or second hand
* Break down due to usage of ingenuine spare parts, eg. carbon brush (not BLACK+DECKER spare parts).
* Normal wear and tear parts: e.g. carbon brush, cord, plug, chuck and bearing.
* Unauthorized repair, alteration/modification.
* Damage caused by foreign objects, substances, accidents, obvious, misuse, abuse, neglect and improper applications.
* Failure or damage due to wear & tear of a component incurred during the course of normal use. Wear and tear components
include but are not limited to the following examples.
Under the BLACK+DECKER PT 1 year Warranty:
* Armature, field coil, motor and electronic will be replaced at no cost for up to 1 times within the 1-year warranty period, if found to be
manufacturing defect
* Transmission and gearbox:
- Cordless -Transmission – 1 time within the 1-year warranty
period.
- Corded - Gearbox – 1 time within the 1-year warranty period.
* Labor charges are waived for the 1-year, for further assistance, kindly reach out to your authorized BLACK+DECKER retailer or
consult www.2helpu.com to locate the nearest BLACK+DECKER authorized repair center.
Making a Warranty Claim
1. To make a warranty claim contact your seller or check the location of your nearest BLACK+DECKER authorized service center at www.2helpu.com.
2. The BLACK+DECKER Tool must be returned to the seller or an authorized service center with all parts complete, with the original proof of purchase.
3. BLACK+DECKER reserves the right to refuse any claim under this warranty which in the opinion of the authorized service center is not due to
material or manufacturing defect or in accordance with the stated BLACK+DECKER PT Warranty Terms & Conditions.
Changes to Terms & Conditions
1. BLACK+DECKER reserves the right to review and amend its warranty policies, periods and product eligibility without notice as BLACK+DECKER
considers appropriate.
2. Current BLACK+DECKER PT Warranty Terms & Conditions are available from www.2helpu.com, your local BLACK+DECKER seller or BLACK+DECKER
office.
